My experience on Server down issue

Last week, I had a problem after uploaded the files & made live the site and all of sudden, the site is down & still now, I don’t know the reason and felt guilty (bad) and try to find a way to solve the issue.

Thank god, I’ve the latest source code & a DB in my Laptop.

 

I tried to connect the FTP & cPanel again & again but no use.

 

So, tried to get a help from the Hosting support team & they also, refuse to help me.

 

Here I am sharing the steps what I have done to make the website live again.

 

Step: 1

 

Created a new Server (another) and uploaded the latest files & a DB.

 

Step:2

 

I changed the A record of the IP address for the latest IP address (pointed to the new server) with the same domain name & it will take some time to run the site.

 

Step:3 (if you are not able to wait to see either it’s working or not)

 

If you want to check the Domain is working from your local machine, please change your host file with the IP address with Domain link & check the site.

 

That’s all the site is up now & running smoothly…
